Noticed: Leather With More Leather

Moto gangs. Go-go dancers. Punk rockers. They’re all fans of the leather-on-leather look—but are probably not topping your list of style icons (with the exception of the punk rockers, of course). Recently, though, we’ve noticed the look taking a turn that’s surprisingly, dare we say it, understated.

Style rules tell you to mix and match it up, so it may seem counterintuitive to stick to one thing from top to bottom—especially something as specific as leather. But choose a jacket with a leather sleeve, pair it with a leather tuxedo-striped pant and finish the look with a great bag, and you’ve got a winning combination. Just a little (leather) goes a long way. It’s not bad to the bone—it’s actually just plain cool.
