THE ONE-LINE ALBUM REVIEW: SONGS MADE FOR (AND AT) A PARTY

You can talk about music all you want, but at a certain point, you just want to hear it. On that note, literally, we asked our in-house music expert Lindsey to recommend something we should be listening to right now—in one sentence or less.

The album:

Andy Shauf’s The Party

The review:

An impressive collection of songs inspired by Shauf’s observations from a single night at a party: lush compositions, lyrical narratives, sweet vocals and Steely Dan undertones—it’s a new favorite that I wish I had discovered sooner.

Where to get it.

What to wear when you play it:

Our favorite fabric, 24/7/365 (we’re talking about denim, of course).

What else you should be listening to:

A playlist for all those sunny days ahead.
