STYLE RECIPES: FALL SHOES + SOCKS, 3 WAYS

Early fall is pretty much the perfect time of year for showing off your socks. So for our latest round of style recipes, we cooked up three ways to wear our favorite pairs with a few staple shoes. The best part? Prep time for each is, like, 30 seconds tops.

1: SOCKS AND SANDALS (THE NOT-DORKY EDITION)

INGREDIENTS: Strappy Sandals + Cozy Socks

THE HOW & WHY:

Don’t put your open-toe shoes away just yet. Take a feminine pair with a low heel and add chunky socks for a look that’s chill-proof but still party-ready. Imperfectly cuffed jeans keep the look just undone enough.

2: ’60s VIBES WITH A SIDE OF SPARKLE

INGREDIENTS: Classic Chelsea Boots + Scrunched Shimmery Socks

THE HOW & WHY:

Nothing says old-school New York like a pair of suede Chelsea boots, and subtly sparkly socks add to the downtown feel. We like ours scrunched just an inch or two above the top of the boot (and P.S., this combo’s so good with a mini skirt).

3: KICKING CASUAL UP A NOTCH

INGREDIENTS: Low-Top Sneaks + Above-the-Ankle Socks

THE HOW & WHY:

We’re always down for a pair of statement sneaks (and in low-key pink, no less), but we especially love the idea of taking them to the next level with gold trouser socks. Together, they create a look that feels intentional but casual. Add a floral maxi for tomboy-cool perfection.
