Ladies We Love: The Denim Campaign Edition
We’re pretty much obsessed with the new denim collection—and equally heart-eyes over the women rocking it in our campaign. So get to know each of them for this special edition of Ladies We Love full of outfit ideas, playlist/podcast recs, personal mottos and more.
MICHELE OUELLET
Her story: I’m a model and vintner from Napa Valley. I co-own Lorenza Rosé along with my mom. I live in Brooklyn but love traveling and consider myself at home in LA, London, Napa and beyond!
Go-to wear-with-jeans outfit: Loafers, a supersoft tee and a leopard-print belt. Boom—rock ’n’ roll.
Current song, playlist or podcast obsession: “I Cry” by Egyptian Lover…funky and fabulous. And my favorite podcast is Comedy Bang Bang, it keeps me company on those long flights!
Typical weekend afternoon: Probably spent on an airplane, but my dream weekend involves swimming, sipping rosé, cooking for friends and a little dance party to top it all off!
Favorite quote or personal motto: Sat Nam. It’s like the aloha of Kundalini yoga and means “truth is my identity.” I’ve got a deep faith in always moving forward—life will take care of you and things will always work out for the best.
STELLA DUVAL
Her story: Apart from modeling, I love to sing and I’m also studying alternative medicine. I live in Little Italy in Manhattan.
Go-to wear-with-jeans outfit: Definitely a striped tee and Vans. And a jean jacket.
Current song, playlist or podcast obsession: Forever and always Radiohead.
Typical weekend afternoon: Drinking tea in a café or watching movies in bed.
Favorite quote or personal motto: Be somebody who makes others feel like a somebody.
LINDSEY DRISCOLL
Her story: I’m the behind-the-scenes music guru for Madewell. I used to live in Brooklyn but fell in love with a Philly rocker, got hitched and made the move to Fishtown. My hobbies include cat cuddling, seeing live tunes, racking up airline miles and mastering my killer ping-pong serve.
Go-to wear-with-jeans outfit: I absolutely cannot live without a high-rise Canadian tuxedo situation. I have an endless supply of white Whisper Cotton V-Neck Tees and chambray button-downs.
Current song, playlist or podcast obsession: The oldie “Everybody Daylight” by Bright Black Morning Light. (Man, I wish they’d get back together.) You can find most of my obsessions on the Madewell Spotify channel, but I also find a lot of inspiration from the Aquarium Drunkard and Numero Group channels.
Typical weekend afternoon: Whether it be my couch for a Netflix binge, a theater for an indie movie or an airplane to meet up with my favorite people, I can almost guarantee I’m chilling out in a seated position.
Favorite quote or personal motto: I don’t really have one, but I do have a reputation for speaking in my native Floridian tongue and using the term “shredder” on the regular. “Shredder” is a coastal term meant as a compliment toward one’s coolness or badassery.
AIDEN CURTISS
Her story: I model and live in New York City! My other interests mostly involve music. I enjoy producing a bit more than DJing but maybe that’s because I’ve practiced more with production. I also like to play with photography, videography & painting/drawing. Creating stuff is fulfilling for me.
Go-to wear-with-jeans outfit: Doc Martens, a slightly cropped top, hoodie and bomber jacket. Comfy and keeps me warm as I’m always cold!
Current song, playlist or podcast obsession: “Love is a Place” by E’mij. Really digging deep house recently.
Typical weekend afternoon: You’ll find me attached to my best friend. We like to walk around the city—Union Square, St. Marks and Columbus Circle are our spots!

NANCY MCLEOD
Her story: I live in Colorado and enjoy photography, all forms of stitchery, visiting my five children and eight grandchildren, playing piano and violin, and of course skiing!
Go-to wear-with-jeans outfit: A tee and sneakers. I’m mostly a high-waist skinny jeans girl but I do love my boyfriend jeans too.
Current song, playlist or podcast obsession: In our house, it’s all about ’80s rock: The Eagles, Tears for Fears, Fleetwood Mac…
Typical weekend afternoon: I now have the luxury of swapping my weekends and weekdays. This way, I avoid crowds and have a low-stress experience whether I’m shopping, skiing, driving through the mountains or seeing a movie with a friend.
Favorite quote or personal motto: “Work first, play later.” I live by it and I drilled it into my kids’ heads. Eventually, my work became my play by following this principle.
